President Donald Trump’s new executive order trying to preempt artificial intelligence state laws is confusing small businesses on what to comply with when leveraging AI tools. “There’s a lot of uncertainty–we’re getting questions on if [companies] should still be complying with these state laws,” says Eric Felsberg, a principal at the law firm Jackson Lewis. “Our advice is: If you’re still subject to state and local laws, continue to comply with those laws for the time being.” […]
