- Los Angeles COVID cases have spread to such a degree that the area is not only running out of hospital beds — it’s also now rationing care and limiting who can be transported to a hospital in an ambulance.
- Because of the coronavirus crisis there, if patients need to be resuscitated in the field, ambulance teams will now declare them dead and will not transfer them to Los Angeles hospitals.
