In 2021, Elias Irizarry participated in the Jan. 6 attack. In 2023, he pleaded guilty to a Jan. 6 charge. In 2026, the Defense Department hired him.
A couple of weeks ago, the public learned about a Jan. 6 rioter who was arrested on a gun charge in Texas more than a year after receiving a presidential pardon from Donald Trump.
