Despite being one of the first companies to let staff work from home during the pandemic, Meta has decided to stop offering remote work in new job postings, according to people familiar with the platform. As the company carries out mass layoffs and reduces hiring in its “year of efficiency,” getting workers back into the office is understood to be another way to combat falling revenues.
