The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) will no longer update its widely cited list of weather and climate disasters that cause billions of dollars in damage, in yet another stunning example of the Trump administration’s hostility towards climate science. For over fifty years, NOAA has tracked extreme weather events, including tornadoes, hurricanes, and droughts.
