Caroline and Trotter Hardy, a pair of retired professors living in Williamsburg, will have been married for nine years this December. They describe themselves as opposites in many ways, and their different personality traits are reflected in the art they create, which will be on display at Gallery 21 in Norfolk beginning Nov. 21.
Caroline Hardy, who has taught at a long list of institutions including Christopher Newport University, The Academy of Art University in San Francisco and Savannah College of Art and Design, has created art for as long as she can remember.She’s more extroverted than her husband, and in her own words, “my work is super expressive.” […]
