Devan launching bio-based technologies at Heimtextil

Ronse, Belguin – Devan Chemicals continues to plumb natural resources for its textile finishing solutions.

At Heimtextil next week, the company will launched two solutions that complement its portfolio of sustainable products: a bio-based antimicrobial (BI-OME natural) and bio-based PCMs (Tones of Cool Bio). Many plants and flowers produce antimicrobial chemicals as a defense mechanism against bacteria, fungi and molds. BI-OME Natural is a natural, bio-based antimicrobial solution that provides optimal freshness and hygiene for textiles. The active ingredients are linseed oil obtained from the dried, ripened seeds of the flax plant and chrysanthemum derived from the seeds of the flowers of the daisy.
