FDA panel backs six peptides for pharmacy compounding

FDA advisers have recommended that six controversial peptides be added to the US 503A Bulks List — potentially opening the door to broader pharmacy compounding of compounds that have become increasingly popular in the online wellness and longevity space. The Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee (PCAC) voted in favour of BPC-157, KPV, TB-500, MOTS-C, epitalon and semax during a two-day meeting on 23-24 July.
