Pandemic lessons: Why I’m sure technology will never replace in-person service
1 min readSix months ago, I had not given any thought to what makes a business “essential.” This term came to have meaning in March when some businesses were deemed more necessary than others. I didn’t make these rules but as the CEO of a local financial institution, I quickly learned I was one of them. Admittedly, financial institutions are not the same as health care providers, first responders and grocery stores. And those of us who are in this business know that.
