The United States Intelligence Community is looking to better understand how emerging technologies can exploit human cognition for what can be characterized as “cyberpsychological” warfare. According to a recently issued “Request for Information” (RFI), the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity, or IARPA, “is seeking information on methods, studies, findings, approaches, and appropriate metrics for characterizing the cognitive effects in cyber operations.” […]
