Venezuela’s confirmed earthquake death toll reached 4,333 on Saturday as USS San Antonio — a warship specifically engineered to deliver supplies without relying on intact port infrastructure — assumed command of the U.S. maritime relief operation, signaling a pivot from emergency rescue toward the long, expensive work of reconstruction.
