Sometimes, even the simplest of frustrations can spark innovation. Look no further than Denmark’s Veo Technologies.
In 2015, cofounder Keld Reinicke was late for his son’s soccer match. He missed the beginning of it. Like 99% of soccer matches across the globe, this one was not recorded, so Reinicke would not get a chance to see his son scoring a rare goal.
The logical solution would be to get someone to record matches moving forward. But in a youth sports environment where money doesn’t always run deep and volunteers are already stretched far beyond what is fair, that would be quite an undertaking.
