Eclectic Options For The Weekend Ahead
With much-welcomed sunshine in the forecast, March’s first weekend should provide the chance to stretch our legs outside.
Friday, March 5
4 – 7 p.m. Mission Restaurant Week is well underway and Rockcreek Brewing Co., 5880 Beverly Ave., is celebrating with a three-night run teaming up with the Taco Tank food truck. There should be plenty of room to spread out and enjoy a pint in the sunshine. Mission Restaurant Week features more than a dozen restaurants and breweries and runs through Sunday, March 7.
5 – 6 p.m. J. Rieger & Co., 2700 Guinotte Ave., is extending an open invitation to anyone interested in tasting the distillery’s first-ever batch of absinthe. “Absinthe Day” will feature a guided lesson in the history, production and experience of absinthe, followed by a tasting, cocktails and small plates.
