St. Louis Character: Video gamer Ben Siders takes a circuitous path to practicing law

It’s unlikely Ben Siders would be a lawyer, much less a partner at Lewis Rice or an inventor and patent holder, if it weren’t for his love of video games. Video games have been a big part of his life for as long as he can remember, and they led him to a five-year career in computer programming before he found a path to the legal industry and intellectual property, technology licensing and compliance.
He works with video and board game clients and has put his expertise to a variety of gaming products, including fantasy sports, mobile device games and publishing services.
